The villages providing fruit are the greatest hits of the Cotes des Blanc: Mesnil, Oger, Cramant, Avize. There is a sensuality to this wine that is phenomenal. Based on the 2012 vintage, the NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Réserve Oubliée is as superb as ever, unfurling in the glass with aromas of waxy lemon rind, confit citrus, warm bread and dried white flowers.
