Application | Application: The undercoat must be absorbent, clean, dry and free of grease. Apply boat oil thinly and evenly with a brush or spray gun. Do not use in direct sunlight. Repainting: Depending on the absorbency of the wood, apply boat oil 3–5 x until it is saturated and a thin layer has built up. Renovation coat: Remove old coats completely and treat as a new coat. Drying: Dust-dry after 4–6 hours, can be sanded and painted over after 12 – 24 hours. Final hardness after a few weeks. Initially, only use carefully. Cleaning of tools: With thinner. Disposal: Dispose of oil residues in an orderly manner. Dried residues should be disposed of with household waste, empty cans should be recycled. |
