This Aiga MAREVA Preventive Winterizing Product - 5L - 161018U is multifunctional: anti-algae, anti-bacteria and anti-scale. This product is to be used during winter when the pool water temperature is below 16C. First clean the filter, the water line, control the pH and then pour the wintering product. Compatible with all treatments, it is guaranteed free of copper sulphate, EDTA and polyphosphates. In the spring, use the usual regular maintenance product again. This product will take care of your pool throughout the winter: so you can swim immediately in the summer! The annual cleaning of the filter is essential to avoid the creation of a nest of algae, the scaling or the creation of a privileged passage which would damage it and make it ineffective. 2) Clean the water line with a suitable product (use a shock treatment if necessary) as well as the skimmer baskets, the pump pre-filter, the back of the projectors and the inside of their niche. 3) Check the pH and adjust it if necessary. 4) Sweep the pool and pour the winterizing product that will take care of your pool all winter long. The sweeping of the pool can be done manually or automatically depending on the model of broom you have chosen. Pour multi-active wintering directly into the pool in front of the discharge vents and leave the filtration running for two hours. Dosage : Use 0.5 to 0.7 litres of product for 10 m of water; leave the filtration running for at least 4 hours. Depending on the volume of your pool: 1 litre from 10 to 20m. 2 litres from 20 to 40m. 3 litres from 40 to 60m. 4 litres from 60 to 80m. 5 litres from 80 to 100m. 10 litres from 100 to 150m.
