AIS TRANSPONDER MA - 510TR - ICOM all maritime traffic at your fingertips The MA - 510TR offers a large 4.3'' high - resolution color TFT screen with a wide viewing angle for ease of use. Thanks to the colors, you can visualize at a glance your position and that of the other boats. Vessels potentially "dangerous" due to their proximity are displayed in red and vessels registered as "friendly" in yellow. The "Day mode or Night mode" display gives you very good readability whatever the conditions of use Detailed list of AIS targets An AIS (Automatic Identification System) transponder on board ensures maximum safety by allowing you to automatically receive information transmitted by other boats equipped with an AIS system (identity, position, route, status, etc.). At the same time, you constantly transmit your data which can be used by other boats and coastal monitoring stations (CROSS). The "Target list" screen displays all detected targets equipped with AIS (vessels, buoys, etc.). The "Danger" screen displays a list of vessels that are within six nautical miles (CPA) and within 60 min (TCPA) of your vessel. The "Friends list" screen displays detected AIS targets that you have set as friends. To access the target details, simply select it using the arrow keys and press the [ENT] key. You can then navigate to it using the simplified navigation feature. DSC call on an ICOM VHF You can transmit an individual DSC call very simply from a compatible VHF radio* (provide cable). Simplified Navigation Function The navigation function guides you to a specific waypoint or AIS target. You can define up to 100 waypoints (favorite destinations, coves, fishing spots, etc.).
