Lifejackets reduce the risk of drowning but do not guarantee survival.Waterproof clothing does not guarantee optimum performance either. Please refer to the brochure. Test the lifejacket before use to check its performance. Until inflation is complete, the product cannot be considered a lifejacket. Designed for swimmers. Train before using this device. Do not use a cushion. The whistle inside the cover is easily accessible once the lifejacket is deployed. A deflated lifejacket offers no safety to its wearer. If the gas system fails, the wearer must inflate the lifejacket by mouth via the tube provided. The optional light is located on the left - hand side of the lifejacket. It is activated automatically when the wearer is submerged. The optional cap located in the neck protection cover unfolds during inflation. Place the bonnet over your head and fasten it by tightening the elastic cord around the inflatable chambers. Fasten the lifejacket with the front buckle and the strap buckle. Tighten the lifejacket/strap as much as possible, but do not make it uncomfortable. The lifejacket has three buttons for attaching it to certain windbreakers. The lifejacket should be worn over any safety harness. It may take longer to inflate when the temperature is below 5°C. When worn in combination with a Baltic bonnet, the lifejacket is suitable for all sea and weather conditions, except polar cold. N.B. the colder the water, the lower the chances of survival. The lifejacket must be checked and serviced annually by a Baltic maintenance centre. Store the lifejacket in a dry, well - ventilated place. Under normal conditions of use, the lifejacket has an estimated lifespan of 10 years.
