Benedicte et Stephane Tissot is a family-run winery located in the Jura region of France. Founded in the late 19th century, the winery has been producing high-quality wines for over a century. Their Arbois Chardonnay Les Graviers is a classic example of the region’s terroir-driven style. The wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown in the limestone-rich soils of the Arbois appellation. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks, before being aged for 12 months in oak barrels. The result is a full-bodied, complex white wine with aromas of ripe stone fruit, citrus, and a hint of oak. On the palate, the wine is rich and creamy, with a long finish. It pairs well with seafood, poultry, and creamy cheeses.
