A few years ago we asked Barton to make us a pulley to take large diameter ropes but which would not cost a fortune. At present a pulley capable of taking a 32 mm diameter rope is absolutely massive and would break the bank if you needed a few of them. Often these large ropes are not placed under a large strain. Sometimes a sheave may be needed to guide or gently divert a line or even a large hosepipe or possibly unloaded chain. Sometimes ropes are used decoratively and may just be hand hauled. Possibly a thick gym climbing rope needs tricing away. This block has been designed to take relatively low loads but BIG diameter ropes. The side cheeks swing apart so it can be inserted onto a pre-rigged line. The side cheeks are made from 316 grade stainless steel and the sheave is "Spectro" anodised aluminium.WLL 225 kg with a 4:1 safety factor.
