The masonry will be carefully repointed using a mortar from the Sika Monotop or SikaTop range. The Igolatex covering is made at least 15 cm above the finished level of the exterior floor. Igolatex is applied with a notched trowel in 2 layers by tightening them tightly. The first layer is applied from bottom to top with the notched side of the float. The second coat, applied with the smooth side of the float, fills and covers the grooves left by the first coat. Apply the second coat in the same direction as the first, so as not to trap air between the two coats. Wait for the first coat to harden before applying the next one, i.e. about 1 to 4 hours at + 20C depending on the ambient humidity. The total thickness of the coating must not exceed 3 to 4 mm, with a minimum of 2 mm at any point, in order to obtain a correct drying. Use Sika products with care.
