This association between an underwater photographer and a diver « organic » is not the result of chance: we have already been diving together for many years and the project of an underwater guide dedicated to our coast has been close to our hearts for a very long time. They still lacked the experience and perspective necessary for the development of such a work; it is now done! We hope you enjoy reading it as much as we did. You will find the description of 100 of the most beautiful dive sites in the Var (including no less than 23 wrecks), accompanied for each of a technical sheet as precise as possible. In addition, we wanted to pay tribute to all those for whom underwater diving is above all a profession. A special chapter is therefore dedicated to diving professionals, in fields as varied as the environment, research or history... for civil or military applications. Let's not forget that it was on the Var coast that the famous Mousquemers, Jacques - Yves Cousteau, Philippe Tailliez and Frédéric Dumas initiated modern diving.
