Despite being a relative newcomer (founded in 1971), Casanova di Neri has become one of the most - respected wineries of Montalcino. It has a fairly modern approach in terms of wine making resulting in wines with plenty of lush fruit. Their wine continuously receives high ratings from renowned critics throughout the world. In 2006 for example, the Wine Spectator named their Brunello di Montalcino Tenuta Nuova 2001 the world’s top wine, calling it “one of the best examples of the recent winemaking renaissance in Tuscany”.
