Butyl putty SIKA Mastic Cover - Gray - 310ml, a one-component butyl plastic sealant, ideal for caulking or connecting roofing elements (cement fiber roofs, tiles, slates etc.) or for caulking greenhouses, canopies and verandas. This product is suitable for outdoor applications. Advantages: Simple application, even for the application of vertical joints Does not form wire extrusion Good resistance to aging and UV rays Possibility to paint the product once dry, prior testing is nonetheless recommended Features: Density: 1 , 4 approx. In all cases of use, the supports or the lips of the joints must be rid of all non-adherent parts and any product that may affect the adhesion of the sealant. APPLICATION Apply sealant in continuous joint avoiding any inclusion of air with a manual, pneumatic or electric gun. Carefully tighten the sealant against the seal lips. Smooth it with a brush moistened with slightly soapy water or white spirit before it forms a skin. The final strength is obtained after complete polymerization.
