Carbon monoxide is generated by internal combustion engines. A power generator with a faulty exhaust that releases exhaust gases into the living area can be extremely dangerous for occupants. The CMD-6 uses a microprocessor-based sensor to detect CO levels. Using the TWA process, it determines the concentration of CO, time, and temperature to calculate the precise alarm point based on the % COHb. - New generation electrochemical sensor that avoids false alarms. Very low power consumption (1 mA). Sensor life approximately 7 years. - Multiple detectors can be interconnected. - Relay for generator shutdown included.
