Epoxy adhesive SIKA Sikadur-31 EF - 1,2kg, is a thixotropic 2-component structural adhesive based on epoxy resin, not very sensitive to humidity, usable in a temperature range between +10C and +30C. Advantages : Suitable for dry or slightly damp surfaces Easy to mix and apply High performance, Cures without shrinkage Adheres to most substrates: concrete, mortar, stone, brick, fibre cement, steel and metals. Resistance to the usual chemical agents at room temperature: slightly concentrated acids, bases, salts and brines, pure water, waste water, oils and fuels. Thixotropic: suitable for vertical and under-face applications Components of different colours (mixture control) Application without primer Excellent abrasion resistance Impermeable to liquids and water vapour Features : Packing : kit 1,2 kg Inspection/Color : Component A: light grey Component B: dark grey Mixture Components A+B: grey Shelf life: 12 months from the date of production (see "Best Before" on the label) Storage condition: Store in unopened, unopened original packaging, protected from frost, humidity and direct sunlight, at a temperature between +5C and +30C. Density: 1.95 + 0.1 kg/l Packaging : x1 Epoxy glue SIKA Sikadur-31 EF - 1,2kg Delivered in its original packaging Tips : QUALITY OF THE SUPPORT The substrate must be clean and sound, free of laitance, non- or poorly adhering parts, any trace of grease, oil, rust, existing coatings or surface treatments, surface water film, etc. Concrete and mortar must be at least 28 days old (or in accordance with the specific minimum requirements of the project). The strength of the substrate (concrete, masonry, natural stone) must always be verified and sufficient: for example by carrying out one or more series of direct tensile tests; the average value of the surface cohesion of the concrete must be at least equal to 1.5 MPa for structural applications. Metal substrates must be prepared up to the degree of care 2.5. SUBSTRATE PREPARATION Concrete, mortar, natural stone, brick: Prepare the substrate so that it is clean, sound, free of ice, oil, grease, loose or loose particles, old coatings, surface water film; the surface must be sufficiently prepared to remove traces of laitance and open up the surface texture. Steel: Prepare the substrate so that it is clean, free of oil, grease, rust, loose or non-adhering particles, old coatings - Preparation: sandblasting, shot-blasting, sanding (reach care level Sa 2.5) and then vacuuming. Apply adhesive immediately. Be careful of the dew point; do not apply if there is a risk of condensation on the substrate.
