Sikasil 670 Fire adheres without primer or activator. Cement laitance must be removed. Sikasil 670 Fire is supplied ready for use. After the necessary preparation of the supports, install in the joint to the required depth, a joint base of section adapted to the width of the joint. If necessary, apply a Sika primer. Install the cartridge or refill in a putty gun. Extrude Sikasil 670 Fire into the seal and press it onto the lips of the seal, making sure they are in good contact with them. Fill the joint continuously and avoid any inclusion of air bubbles. Sikasil 670 Fire must be tightened firmly against the lips of the joint to allow good adhesion. It is recommended to use backing strips if clean, straight edge joints are required. Remove the strips before the sealant forms a skin. Do not use any smoothing agents containing solvents. Clean all tools and application equipment immediately after use with Sika impregnated wipes. Once cured, product residues can only be removed mechanically.
