One of the most fascinating and dynamic realities not only of the Isonzo, Lis Neris has been able to establish itself over time thanks to a probably unique talent in knowing how to read not only its territory and its historical varieties, but also different styles and vines, hitting every time the shot. The credit goes to Alvaro Pecorari, owner and soul of this very important winery. We are in Gorizia, one of the most fascinating and disputed border cities in Europe, as well as a place capable, thanks to a unique cultural melting pot, of expressing products of great character. If it is true that the roots of Lis Neris go back to the previous four generations, with the date of the birth of the winery which is to be traced back to the year 1879, it is also true that the turning point was 1981, a moment in which a new productive mentality has begun to take shape, aimed at achieving superior quality, the true leitmotiv of every Alvaro Pecorari wine. So here we are among the company's seventy hectares of vineyards, planted between the northern border with Slovenia and the right bank of the Isonzo, in an area characterized by the typical river pebbles, so important for viticulture thanks to their ability to absorb heat during the day. and release it at night. Among the rows, native varieties alternate with international ones, for which cabernet sauvignon and friulano, sauvignon blanc and merlot, pinot grigio and chardonnay, gewürztraminer and riesling meet: grapes that come to take the names of "Gris", "Picol", "Jurosa" and "Confini", without neglecting the two Classic Brut and Extra Brut Methods, and without forgetting the "Tal Lùc", the latter often winner of the prize for best sweet wine Italian. Passionate oenological pearls, Tasting Notes Straw yellow, on the nose it expresses all the deep typicality of Sauvignon thanks to notes ranging from fruit, grapefruit and peach, to wild flowers through the characteristic tones of tomato leaf. In the mouth it is dry, fresh, slightly savory but at the same time characterized by a certain softness. Long, it closes with a nice, vibrant and persistent finish. Pairings Also as an aperitif, Lis Neris Sauvignon is an ideal white wine to accompany a plate of mixed Sashimi.
