Marchesi di Barolo is a renowned Italian winery located in the Piedmont region of northwest Italy. Founded in 1891, the winery is renowned for its production of Barbaresco Riserva DOCG, a full-bodied red wine made from the Nebbiolo grape. The Marchesi di Barolo Barbaresco Riserva DOCG is aged for a minimum of three years in oak barrels, with a minimum of two years in the bottle before release. The wine has a deep ruby red colour and a complex bouquet of ripe red fruits, spices, and floral notes. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and well-structured, with a long finish. The Marchesi di Barolo Barbaresco Riserva DOCG is an excellent accompaniment to red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
