Screed Mortar - SIKA SikaScreed Screed 50 - Grey - 25kg, is a ready-to-use single-component hydraulic mortar for screeds. It can be used for the production of floating or adherent screeds on new or old slabs, before laying any type of floor covering. Can be used indoors and outdoors. Can be used on water or electric underfloor heating (PRE). Can be left bare. Advantages : Fast setting and adhesion of any coating after 4 days of drying good resistance to freeze/thaw cycles and de-icing salts Excellent resistance to impact and cracking, high mechanical compressive and flexural strength Good resistance to hydrocarbons Features : Density of the fresh mortar: approx. 2.3 Grain size: 0 to 4 mm Return to service: pedestrian traffic: 12h / heavy traffic: 24h Practical operating time: at 5C: > 2 h, at 20C: approx. 2 h, at 30C: approx. 45 min. Colour : Grey Packaging : 25kg Reference : 515161 Packaging : 1x Screed Mortar - SIKA SikaScreed Screed 50 - Grey - 25kg Delivered in its original packaging Tips : The foundation must be made of a rigid material (concrete, gravel-cement, ?). Substrates must be sound, cohesive, clean, non-greasy, dust-free and free of any parts that are not adherent or that could impair the adhesion and monolithicity of the assembly. Substrates must be wetted to refusal (but not dripping) the day before application, then again on the day of application, and treated with an adhesion slurry prepared as follows: 1 bag of SikaScreed Screed-50 + 6 litres of liquid (2 litres of SikaLatex 360 + 4 litres of water). The mortar is applied on fresh slurry. Instead of the slip, a layer of SikaLatex 360 (approx. 150 g/m depending on the substrate) can also be applied on a dry substrate. Allow to dry for 2 hours and then apply SikaScreed Screed-50. Spread the mixture to a thickness conforming to DTU 26.2 for screeds, or a minimum thickness of 1 cm for micro-valves and slope shapes. The maximum thickness is 15 cm. The minimum screed thicknesses comply with paragraphs 7.3 and 7.4 of DTU 26.2, namely : Adhesive laying: 3 cm minimum / Loose or floating laying: nominal thickness ? 5 cm (without being locally less than 4 cm) in low stress premises, and nominal thickness ? 6 cm (without being locally less than 4.5 cm) in premises with moderate stress and collective kitchens. Joints (shrinkage, splitting, expansion and peripherals) are dimensioned and treated in accordance with DTU 26.2 Chapes.
