After preparing the substrates, apply Sika MaxTack Ultra Clear in dots or strips to the bonding surface a few centimetres apart, only press the element to be bonded by hand in the appropriate place. Use double-sided adhesive, shims or clamps to hold the assembled parts together during the first few hours of curing. An incorrectly positioned element can be easily adjusted during the first few minutes after application. Press again. The recommended thickness of the adhesive layer depends on the consistency of the substrate and must be less than or equal to 3 mm. Fresh, unpolymerized glue that remains on a surface must be removed immediately. The final strength will be obtained after the complete polymerization of Sika MaxTack Ultra Clear.
