Pesto Rosso Benso is composed like Pistou Génois of fresh basil, pine nuts, cashew nuts, pecorino (sheep) and grana (cow) cheeses and extra virgin olive oil, with a touch of garlic. Cream of sun - dried tomatoes and fresh tomatoes are added to the base of the genoese pesto to add the scented and slightly acid side of the tomato.
