Orientation of the tablecloths: it is advisable to avoid horizontal overlaps. To do this, proceed with: vertical unrolling when the height of the wall to be protected is greater than the width of the sheet. Horizontal unrolling when the installation height is less than or equal to the width of the sheet. Installation : Unroll the sheet. When advancing, fix it mechanically at the top (generally every 25 cm), using the mounting spikes and buttons. Overlapping of the strips: by interlocking the cells over a minimum of 10 to 15 cm. Avoid vertical overlapping areas near the corners. In the case of horizontal overlapping, the sheet at the highest level must overlap that at the lowest level. First fix the lower level sheet to the substrate using Sika Multiseal self-adhesive sealing tape (cut approx. 15 cm long strips every 50-60 cm). Unroll the upper layer of the mat with an overlap of approx. 15 cm. Sika Multiseal must be used to join the two sheets together. To finish the upper edge: Position the profile to cover the upper part of the mat. It is mechanically fixed in the perforations provided for this purpose. Bottom edge finish: At the bottom, the mat stops at the lower edge of the foundation. Backfill: as HDPE fears UV rays, it is advisable to backfill very quickly after installation to prevent it from becoming brittle. Use Sika products with care.
