SIKA repair mortar SikaMonoTop-3400 Abraroc - 25 kg - Grey, is a one-component, PMES hydraulically-bonded structural repair mortar, applicable manually or by machine, with high resistance to hydraulic abrasion. Advantages : Ready to mix with water High abrasion resistance (A6 classification) High resistance to hydraulic abrasion (equivalent to granite) Resistant to seawater and aggressive water Applicable up to 50 mm thickness in one pass, in vertical and horizontal application Can be applied manually or by spraying (wet or dry method) Features : Packaging : 25 kg bag Inspection/Colour: Grey Shelf life: 12 months from date of manufacture Storage condition: The product must be stored in its original unopened packaging in a dry place at temperatures between +5 C and +35 C. Always refer to the packaging. Packaging : x1 Repair mortar Delivered in its original packaging Tips : QUALITY OF THE SUPPORT / PRE-TREATMENT Concrete: The substrate must be clean, cohesive (direct tensile strength > 1MPa) and free of loose parts. In particular, it must be free of traces of oil, grease, laitance, curing products, etc. Exposed steels should be brushed or sandblasted to remove rust and then coated with Sika Monotop 910 N. When the substrate is new concrete, it is not necessary to wait until the concrete has fully cured before applying Sika Monotop 3400 Abraroc. Application can be made on concrete that is only a few hours old. It is sufficient that the concrete has acquired sufficient cohesion to be walked on without degrading it. In this case, it is necessary that the surface of the concrete is as rough as possible (scratch if necessary the fresh concrete after adjustment) and that it remains wet (avoid any drying). Bonding Primer: Due to the nature of the aggregates and the water content of Sika Monotop 3400 Abraroc, it is imperative that it be applied over primer unless it is applied by spraying. Metal Reinforcement: Exposed steel will be brushed or sandblasted to remove rust and mortar traces and then covered with Sika Monotop 910 N. Rust and mortar traces should be removed by abrasion or high pressure cleaning techniques.
