Wood thread The wood thread consists of a series of spiral grooves running the length of the shank of the screw or bolt. These grooves create an endless screw path that allows the screw or bolt to screw into the wood with sufficient strength to hold in place. Wood threading is used to assemble wooden furniture, frames, floors, drywall and other wooden construction projects. A2 stainless steel A2 grade steels are the most widely used stainless steels. Also known as 304 grade stainless steel, A2 stainless steel contains around 18% chromium and 8% nickel, giving it high corrosion resistance and good heat resistance.
