Water and impurities can cause high wear on the fuel pump and injectors, resulting in reduced reliability and the need for costly engine repairs. The separation and filtration process takes place according to a new, unique and patented concept, applied across the entire range. The SEPAR 2000 system is distinguished by its small size in relation to the actual flow rate. The SEPAR 2000 is installed on the suction side of the fuel supply system, between the tank and the fuel pump mounted on the engine. The fuel enters the filter through inlet port A or B (see figure), depending on installation requirements, taking care to close the unused port with a threaded plug.
