Pack of 24 SIKA Sikaflex G 139 - Black - 300ml, an easy-to-apply, fast-setting, one-component sealant, ideal for bonds subject to vibration or shock. It can be applied both indoors and outdoors and is ideal for the installation of floor joints. Advantages : Rapid polymerisation under the action of humidity in the air, the product is then transformed into a flexible material. Has high adhesion Permanent elasticity A product that doesn't run for ease of use Excellent resistance to ageing and weathering for a longer lifespan Features : Density: approx. 1.35 Application temperature : +5C to +40C Curing speed: approx. 3.5 mm in 24 hours at + 23 C and 50 % RH Skin formation time: approx. 60 minutes at + 23 C and 50 % RH Colour: black Packaging : 300ml cartridge Reference : 505739x24 Packaging : Set of 24 SIKA quick-setting adhesive putties Tips : SUPPORT Substrates must be cohesive, sound, dry, homogeneous, clean and free of oil and grease, dust and loose or friable particles. Cement laitance must be removed. In all cases of use, the elements to be glued, the supports or the lips of the joints must be free from traces of release oil and curing product and must be free of any non-adherent parts (old paint, rust, etc.), and of any product that may affect the adhesion of the sealant. APPLICATION Apply the putty adhesive with a manual, pneumatic or electric gun. Gluing: Place beads or dots (a few centimetres apart) of Sikaflex G-139 on the part to be glued or on the substrate. Secure the workpiece before the adhesive forms a skin by applying simple manual pressure. Hold in place, if necessary, for the first few hours of curing with adhesive paper or a wedge. An incorrectly positioned part will be easily adjusted within the first 30 minutes after application. Apply pressure again. The final effectiveness of the bond is obtained after complete polymerization. The circulation on the covers and the removal of temporary fixings or supports are only possible when the mastic adhesive is fully cured either for a thickness of 3mm: 2 days approx. at +23C and 50%RH or at +10C and 80%RH. Facade grouting : DTU 44.1 must be respected, in particular, do not make joints less than 5 mm wide. Use a Sika JOINT FUEL, installed with a non-cutting tool so as not to damage its surface. Apply the sealant in a continuous joint and in one or more passes depending on the width of the joint, avoiding any air inclusion. Tighten the sealant to the substrate and smooth with a spatula moistened with Sika Tooling Agent N before skinning. Floor grouting: Pre-apply Sika Primer-3N to the joint lips. A flush joint design prevents the accumulation of contaminants and dirt in the joint. A flush joint design protects the sealant from mechanical loads. Commissioning should be carried out after complete curing and within the drying time appropriate to the application, i.e.: 15 days curing of the mastic adhesive (10mm depth) at +23C and 50% RH for joints in frequent or prolonged contact with liquid / 7 days curing of the mastic adhesive (10mm depth) at +23C and 50% RH for floor joints. Use Sika products with care. Before use, please refer to the manufacturer's product manual available on the sika.co.uk website.
