Set of 24 silicone sealants for carpentry joints - SIKA SikaSeal 109 Carpentry - Beige- 300ml, can be used indoors and outdoors, this silicone sealant is easy to apply and will be suitable for all your renovation or new work. Insensitive to weathering after curing, it will resist the hazards of ageing. Advantages : Adhesion that does not require a primer on most substrates. In all cases of use, the substrates and joint lips must be cleaned of all non- or poorly adherent parts and of any product that may impair the adhesion of the sealant (grease, oil, dust). APPLICATION Respect the DTU 44.1. In particular, do not make joints less than 5 mm wide. Use a Sika JOINT FUEL installed with non-cutting tools to avoid damaging its surface. Apply the sealant in a continuous joint using a manual, pneumatic or electric gun, avoiding any air inclusion. Tighten the sealant carefully against the lips of the joint. Then smooth with a brush moistened with slightly soapy water, if necessary, before a skin forms. Use Sika products with care.
