The strength of the substrate must be checked and evaluated. In case of doubt or for hollow substrates of unknown strength, field tests are recommended (threaded rod pull test). Clean the anchor hole: it must be clean, dry, free of grease and oil. It must be cleaned by brushing to remove any residual dust. The threaded rods to be sealed must be clean, degreased and free of any substance or particles (dust, grease, oil, etc ...). Use Sika products with care.
