Inhibitor Impregnation SIKA FerroGard -903 Plus - 25kg, is an impregnation based on corrosion inhibitors, designed for reinforced concrete. Part of Sika's overall system for the repair and protection of reinforced concrete Features : Packaging : Can of 25 kg Aspect/Colour: Translucent, colourless/lightly amber liquid Shelf life: 24 months after the date of manufacture, when the product is stored in its original unopened, unopened, frost-free packaging. Storage condition: In case of frost (- 5C) crystallization may occur. This phenomenon is reversible; therefore, store the product at a temperature between +15C and +25C to warm up. Then, stir until dissolution and complete disappearance of crystals. Density: about 1.05 kg Packaging : x1 Inhibitor Impregnation Delivered in its original packaging Tips : QUALITY OF THE SUPPORT / PRE-TREATMENT Concrete substrate must be clean, sound, free of loose or poorly adhering parts, free of oil, laitance, grease, curing compounds, dirt, dust, old coatings, paint, levelling compounds, laitance, which may prevent, reduce and limit the penetration and migration of Sika FerroGard-903 Plus. If the substrate is to be coated (protective paint or topcoat), the roughness of the substrate must be sufficient to promote adhesion. Weak points and damage (cracks, spalling, etc.) must be repaired beforehand: removal of loose parts, treatment of reinforcement, reprofiling with mortars from the Sika MonoTop, SikaTop or Sika Icoment range. Refer to standard NF P 95-101. For concrete to be protected by Sikagard coatings or Sikagard hydrophobic impregnations, prepare the surface with a pressurised water jet (up to 18 MPa - 180 bar). For concrete to be coated with SikaTop cement-based mortars, prepare and roughen the substrate by sandblasting, wet sandblasting, pressurized water blasting (up to 60 MPa - 600 bar). To promote penetration and migration of Sika FerroGard-903 Plus (optimum absorption by the substrate) allow the concrete surface to dry prior to application.
