Expanding polyurethane foam SIKA Sikaboom - XL Gun - 500ml, mono-component aerosol expanding polyurethane foam that hardens after extrusion. This product is applied with the SIKA spray gun for polyurethane foams with the adapter mounted on the aerosol. Advantages : Good adhesion on concrete, cement mortar, cement fibers, terracotta, plaster, tile, wood. The performance of Sika Boom - XL GUN depends on ambient and substrate humidity, temperature and storage time. Sika Boom - XL GUN can be used to fill and seal voids by injection for : For mechanical fastening and insulation of door and window frames. ? Insulation: against noise, cold and draughts. Filling of hollow spaces in: walls, partitions, pipe and ductwork passages, around roller shutter boxes and air conditioning systems. ? Sika Boom - XL GUN is suitable for static joints. Do not use in enclosed areas. Ventilate the application room Do not expose the aerosol to sunlight, heat or temperatures above + 50 C: risk of explosion. Do not contact the extruded foam with acetone or Sika Boom Cleaner as this will alter its expansion and polymerization. The Sika Boom - XL GUN is not suitable: on silicone sup-ports, for waterproof caulking and on submerged and ground substrates, in contact with products containing light oils, plasticizers or anti-oxidants: bitumen, pitch, asphalt, Polypropylene, Polyethylene, Teflon, silicone, oils, greases, release agents, etc... Operating stresses must not exceed the resistance of the foam The Sika Boom - XL GUN is only suitable as a supplement to mechanical fastening The foam degrades on the surface when exposed to UV light and water for long periods of time. Protect the cured foam with a suitable paint or mortar.
