Sikaflex-291i has excellent adhesion to the main substrates used in shipbuilding: wood, metals, primers and paints (two-component), ceramics and plastics (GRP, etc.). However, it should not be used on plastics subject to stress cracking. This product has a low flame spread in accordance with the standards imposed by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
