SIKA Sikaflex 291i marine sealant - White - 300ml, perfect for marine applications on boats thanks to its high resistance to salt and vibrations. A one-component polyurethane that polymerizes the action of ambient moisture to form a durable elastomer. Advantages: Ideal for the realization of waterproofing Soft, resists to the vibrations Good resistance to the sea water Can be sanded and painted Good adhesion on the majority of the fitting parts Meets the standards imposed by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Characteristics: Density: 1,3 kg / l approximately (according to the color) Temperature of application: ideal is of + 15 C to + 25 C Colors: White Conditioning: 300ml Reference: 408842 Conditioning: Delivered in its packing of origin Tips: SUPPORT Surfaces must be clean, dry, free of grease and dusted. Adhesion can be enhanced by degreasing the substrates with a suitable Sika activating agent and Sika primer if needed. APPLICATION Cut the nozzle to the desired size and apply the product with a manual or pneumatic gun. Avoid any inclusion of air. Do not apply Sikaflex 291i at temperatures below + 10 C or above + 40 C. The optimum temperature of the substrates and adhesive must be between + 15 C and + 25 C. The smoothing and finishing of the joints must be done during the skin-forming time of the product. We recommend using Sika Tooling Agent N.
