Features: Density: 1.00 kg / l approx Application temperature: + 5 C to + 40 C Velocity polymerization: 2 mm / 24 hours approx. (23 C / 50% RH) Skin formation time: 100 minutes approx. (23 C / 50% RH) Colors: White, transparent after drying Packaging: 300ml-380g Reference: 441732 Packaging: Supplied in its packaging Advice: SUPPORT The substrates must be cohesive, homogeneous, sound, dry, clean, free from oils and grease, dust and friable or non-adherent particles. The cement laitance must be removed. Good adhesion on concrete, cellular concrete, cement mortar, untreated terra cotta, brick, metals, anodized aluminum and most lacquered aluminum and treated wood. APPLICATION Sikaflex Faade is supplied ready to use. Grouting at the Facade: After proper preparation of the joint and supports, install in the joint at the required depth, a Sika JOINTS FIT of section adapted to the width of the joint. If necessary, apply a Sika primer. Install the cartridge into a manual, pneumatic or electric Sika range gun. Extrude the Sikaflex Facade Sealant into the seal and press it onto the seal lips making sure they are in good contact with them. Fill the joint continuously and avoid the inclusion of air bubbles. Sikaflex Facade must be tightly pressed against the lips of the joint to allow good adhesion. Media protection strips should be used if sharp and straight edge joints are required. Remove the strips before curing the adhesive sealant. Soft collages of light decorative elements on the front: Place on the piece to be glued or on the support, cords or points (separated by a few centimeters) from Sikaflex Faade. Fix the part to be glued before the putty-glue forms a skin, exerting a simple manual pressure. Hold in place, if necessary, during the first hours of polymerization using an adhesive paper or shim. A poorly positioned part will be easily adjusted in the first thirty minutes after its application. Press again. The final effectiveness of the bonding is obtained after complete polymerization. Commissioning must be done after complete polymerisation according to the joint section and the climatic conditions. The removal of temporary fixings or postures is only possible when the adhesive mastic is fully cured for a thickness of 3mm: 2 days approx. at + 23 C and 50% RH. Use Sika products with care.
