SIKA Sikaflex G 139 quick-setting adhesive sealant - Black - 300ml, an easy-to-apply, quick-setting, one-component sealant ideal for vibration or impact bonding. The application can be carried out indoors or outdoors and this product is ideal for the installation of floor joints. Advantages: A rapid polymerization under the action of the humidity of the air, the product then transforms into a flexible material Has a high adhesion A permanent elasticity A product which does not flow for a facility of implementation Excellent behavior aging and weathering for longer service life Features: Density: approx. Application temperature: + 5 C to + 40 C Polymerisation speed: approx. in 24 hours at + 23 C and 50% RH Skin formation time: 60 minutes approx. at + 23 C and 50% RH Color: black Packaging: 300ml cartridge Reference: 505739 Packaging: Comes in its original packaging Advice: SUPPORT The substrates must be cohesive, sound, dry, homogeneous, clean and free of oils and grease, dust and loose or friable particles. The cement laitance must be removed. In all cases of use, the elements to be glued, the supports or the lips of the joints must be free from traces of formwork oil and curing product and be rid of any non adherent part (old paint, rust ...) and any product that may affect the adhesion of the sealant. APPLICATION Apply mastic adhesive with a manual, pneumatic or electric gun. Gluing: Place on the piece to be glued or on the support, cords or points (separated from a few centimeters) of Sikaflex G-139. Fix the part to be glued before the putty-glue forms a skin by exerting a simple manual pressure. Hold in place, if necessary, during the first hours of polymerization using an adhesive paper or shim. A poorly positioned part will be easily adjusted in the first thirty minutes after its application. Press again. The final effectiveness of the bonding is obtained after complete polymerization. Circulation on the covers and the removal of fixings or provisional supports are only possible when the mastic-glue is completely polymerized either for a thickness of 3mm: 2 days approx. at + 23 C and 50% RH or at + 10 C and 80% RH. Grouting on the facade: Respect the DTU 44.1. In particular, do not make joints with a width of less than 5 mm. Use a Sika JOINTS FUND, put in place with a non-cutting tool so as not to damage the surface. Apply the sealant in continuous joint and in one or more passes depending on the width of the joint, avoiding any inclusion of air. Tighten the mastic-adhesive against the supports then smooth it with a spatula moistened with Sika Tooling Agent N before it forms a skin. Grouting in the ground: Apply previously on the lips of the joints, Sika Primer-3N. A gasket design flush with the tile siding prevents the accumulation of pollutants and dirt in the joint. A recessed seal design protects the sealant against mechanical loads. The commissioning must be carried out after complete polymerization and respecting the drying time suitable for the application, ie: 15 days of glue-adhesive drying (depth 10mm) at + 23 C and 50% RH for the joints on contact frequent or prolonged with a liquid / 7 days of glue-adhesive drying (depth 10mm) at + 23 C and 50% RH for the floor joints.
