Color: gray concrete Packaging: 300ml cartridge Reference: 424124 Packaging: Delivered in its original packaging Advice: SUPPORT The support must be clean, dry, healthy and homogeneous, free of oils, grease, dust and loose or friable particles. The laitance of cement and other weakly adherent elements must be eliminated. Sikaflex PRO-3 adheres without primer or activator. However, to achieve optimum adhesion and performance applications such as renovation, high-pressure joints and joints that are highly exposed to the weather or immersed in water, the following primers and degreasers and surface preparations should be used: Non-porous substrates: Aluminum, anodised aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, metals with thermo-lacquered powder-based coatings or glazed tiles must be cleaned and then degreased with a clean cloth impregnated with Sika Aktivator 205. Before applying the sealant, allow the Sika Aktivator 205 to dry (drying time 15 min to 6 hours maximum). Other metals such as copper, brass, titanium zinc must also be cleaned and degreased with a clean cloth impregnated with Sika Aktivator 205. After the necessary drying time, apply Sika Primer-3N clean brush. Before applying the sealant, allow the primer to dry (drying time: 30 minutes minimum to 8 hours maximum). PVC should be cleaned and then apply Sika Primer-215 with a clean brush. Before applying the sealant, allow the primer to dry (drying time: 30 minutes minimum to 8 hours maximum). Porous substrates: Concrete, cellular concrete, cement renders, mortars and bricks must be printed with Sika Primer-3N applied with a clean brush. Before applying the sealant, allow the primer to dry (drying time: 30 minutes minimum to 8 hours maximum). For further information, consult the technical service. Note: The primers are adhesion agents. They can not in any case substitute for a proper cleaning of the surface or improve its surface cohesion significantly. APPLICATION Sikaflex PRO-3 is supplied ready to use. After the necessary preparation of the supports, install in the joint at the required depth, a Sika JOINTS FIT of section adapted to the width of the joint. If necessary, apply a Sika primer. Install the cartridge or refill into a putty gun. Extrude the Sikaflex PRO-3 sealant into the seal and press it onto the seal lips, making sure they are in good contact with them. Fill the joint continuously and avoid any air bubbles. Sikaflex PRO-3 should be tight against the lips of the joint to allow good adhesion. Media protection strips should be used if sharp and straight edge joints are required. Remove the strips before the putty forms a skin. Use a smoothing fluid compatible with Sika Tooling Agent N to smooth the surfaces of the sealant joint before skin forms. Do not use a smoothing agent containing solvents. Use Sika products with care. Before use, please consult the manufacturer's product leaflet available on the sika.fr website.
