SIKA Sikafloor 400 N Elastic Sealing Coating - Silex Grey - 17kg, is a one-component coloured, ready-to-use, solvent-based polyurethane resin that cures in contact with air. Colour : Flint grey Packaging : Bucket of 17 kg Delivered in its original packaging Tips : QUALITY OF THE SUPPORT The substrate must be clean, sound, dry and have undergone suitable preparation to obtain a rough surface, free of any loose or poorly adherent parts. In particular, it must be free of traces of oil, grease, laitance, curing agent and any substance that may impair the adhesion of the resins. SUBSTRATE PREPARATION Open the package completely and re-mix the product with an electric stirrer until a perfectly uniform colour is obtained. Pour the quantity of product to be used into a "truck" within the next 20 to 30 minutes, then carefully reseal the package hermetically to allow for a good conservation of the remaining product. In the case of reusing a package that has already been opened, it is possible that a skin may have formed on the surface. Cut it off at the periphery with a cutter and then remove it before re-homogenizing the product. APPLICATION Sikafloor-400 N Elastic can be applied in several coats, by roller or brush. For best uniformity of application, it is recommended to use a "truck" equipped with a dewatering grid to impregnate the roller or brush, rather than pouring the product directly onto the substrate. It can also be applied in a single coat as a self-levelling compound. For large surfaces, Sikafloor-400 N Elastic can be applied by spraying with an AIRLESS spray gun. APPLICATION MATERIAL Low speed electric or pneumatic mixer, roller brush, wringer grid, notched comb and AIRLESS spray gun (for spray application) Use Sika products with care.
