SIKA protection paint Sikagard Sloped roof protection - Sand - 4L, a simplicity of implementation for a roof actively protected against the infiltration of rainwater without suffocation of the support. Very versatile, this product adheres to many substrates, even slightly damp, such as concrete, mortar, blocks, tiles, slate etc. It is resistant to UV, frost and bad weather. The substrates must be clean, sound, free from any non-adhering parts or that may hinder adhesion (fats, oils, old paints ...). Synthetic substrates (PVC, polyester) will be slightly sanded to create a micro-roughness. Ferrous substrates will be carefully degreased and protected from corrosion with a rust preventive primer. APPLICATION Apply Sikagard Protection Roofs inclined in two layers by brush or roller. On porous substrates, first apply a primer (3 parts Sikagard Protection Sloped Roofs diluted with 1 part water). Waiting time between 2 layers: 12 to 24 hours according to temperature and hygrometry. The site will be protected from rain during and after the application of Sikagard Protection Sloped Roofs (4 hours minimum). Use Sika products with care.
