SIKA Sikagard Protective Paint Sloped roof protection - Transparent - 4L, ready to use, this paint can be used to renovate or repair the roof, to protect the facades against the infiltration of dripping water or to bridge cracks. Highly resistant over time, this protective paint is resistant to weather, UV and the prolonged action of the gel, whether in an aggressive atmosphere urban, industrial or marine. The substrates must be clean, sound, free from any non-adhering parts or that may hinder adhesion (fats, oils, old paints ...). Synthetic substrates (PVC, polyester) will be slightly sanded to create a micro-roughness. Ferrous substrates will be carefully degreased and protected from corrosion with a rust preventive primer. APPLICATION Apply Sikagard Protection Roofs inclined in two layers by brush or roller. On porous substrates, first apply a primer (3 parts Sikagard Protection Sloped Roofs diluted with 1 part water). Waiting time between 2 layers: 12 to 24 hours according to temperature and hygrometry. The site will be protected from rain during and after the application of Sikagard Protection Sloped Roofs (4 hours minimum). Use Sika products with care.
