SIKA Sikagard Waterproofing Protection Sol SATINE - 5L, colorless and ready to use, this product protects the soil from water, oil and diesel and improves the resistance to freeze and thaw cycles. This treatment facilitates the cleaning of the support and promotes its maintenance. The final appearance of the support is satin. Ensure that the substrate to be treated is sufficiently porous to allow penetration of Sikagard Protection Sol SATIN. If they are quickly absorbed (less than 10 s): the support is sufficiently porous, it can be waterproofed normally. If they are slowly absorbed (from 1 to 10 min): the support is not very porous, the support can be waterproofed in a thin layer. If the water is not absorbed, the support is too "closed" and can not be waterproofed. APPLICATION To protect surfaces (interlocking pavers, slabs, stones ...): Apply Sikagard Protection Sol SATIN uniformly on the surface to be treated with a long-haired roller. If a 2nd coat is required for improved stain protection (oil, food, etc.), it must be applied before the 1st is dry to the touch. The 2nd layer should also be applied using a long-haired roller. To stabilize joints and protect surfaces: Apply Sikagard Protection Sol SATIN uniformly to the surface to be treated with a watering can equipped with its apple. Sikagard Protection Sol SATINE can also be applied using a low pressure sprayer (garden sprayer for example). Allow the product to penetrate the joints for a few minutes before removing the excess with a squeegee. When the application is made on uneven pavers and / or rough appearance, remove any surplus of product that could remain on the surface of the pavers (with the help for example of a squeegee or a wet cloth). If a 2nd coat is needed for improved protection against stains (oil, food, etc.), it must be applied before the 1st is dry to the touch. Use for the second layer a long-haired roller to promote the penetration of the product in the support. In all cases, protect the treated surface from rain for at least 6 hours (at + 20 C) after application. Protect longer at lower temperatures or in high humidity. Use Sika products with care.
