New concretes and mortars must be at least 28 days old. Chamfer outward angles. In the re-entrant angles, make a mortar groove (Sika Monotop). Waiting time before recovery by SIKALASTIC COLOR: 7 days. Gaskets and cracks larger than 1 mm are pre-treated, after U-shaped opening, by Sikaflex sealant application on Sika backing. For metal substrates, SikaLastic Color is compatible with most anti-corrosion coatings. Refer to the technical manuals of these products. APPLICATION On porous substrates, first apply a layer of primer consisting of 3 parts of SikaLastic Color diluted with one part of water (by volume). Apply SikaLastic Color in 2 or 3 coats by brush or roller. On the right of singular points (cracks less than 1 mm, cracks and joints greater than 1 mm and previously treated with Sikaflex mastic, angles, raised, ...) and in the case of tiled or micro fissured supports, incorporate the Sikarmature weft in the first layer of SikaLastic Color. Waiting time between layers: as soon as SikaLastic Color is dry to the touch. Use Sika products with care.
