Allow the levelling compound to dry completely and make sure that the adhesive adheres well. Thoroughly vacuum clean the Supports SikaBond 52 Parquet: Concrete / Cement screed: must be sanded and thoroughly cleaned by vacuumingAnhydrite screed / Anhydrite fluid screed: must be sanded and thoroughly cleaned by vacuuming just prior to gluing the parquet, refer to the CSTB technical advice of the substrate.Vitrified/old tiles: must be degreased with Sika Aktivator 205 or sanded and then carefully vacuumed off.wood panels, plasterboard: must be glued (except DTU 51.3) or screwed to the intermediate frame. For floating floors and other surfaces: consult our technical department. Can be applied without primer on floors based on hydraulic binders, anhydrite floors (refer to the CSTB technical notice of the substrate), chipboard, concrete and tiles. On hydraulically bonded floors with excessive residual moisture or old rigid adhesive residues or on substrates with low cohesion, use Sika Primer MB FR or Sika Primer MR Fast. APPLICATION Unroll the SikaLayer 05 underlayment onto the substrate along the entire length of the room, corresponding to the lengthwise direction of the boards. The recesses are therefore perpendicular to the length of the blades. Cut the end of the first strip at the level of the walls, frame uprights or skirting boards with a cutter, without contact or upward movement, while maintaining a suitable peripheral clearance. The strip forms a laying surface where traffic on the bare underlay will be limited to avoid any alteration. Apply SikaBond 52 Parquet Adhesive into each recess with the V-opening nozzle (8 x 10 mm). Lay the flooring backwards on the first strip of underlay and gradually check that the glue is in good contact with the flooring before it forms a skin. Unroll the second strip of underlay. The various strips will be laid edge to edge, without overlapping, over the entire surface to be covered with parquet, as they are laid. Make sure that the boards to be laid on the strip seams are glued. Otherwise, remove the foam at the junction of the belts by cutting with a cutter. The uneven flatness of the boards can be loaded with, for example, a packet of boards to obtain a good contact with the glue until complete drying. Use Sika products with care. Before use, please consult the manufacturer's product manual available on the sika.com website.
