SIKA Sikasol W single-component floor paint - Concrete gray - 5L, moisture-resistant, this ready-to-use paint is ideal for laundry rooms, washrooms, laundry rooms, etc. It can only be used on horizontal surfaces (interior and exterior) and can be used as a thin, dust-proof and decorative covering for garages, car parks, balconies, etc. Advantages: Easy application Good hiding power, solvent-free and quick drying Adherence to most substrates: concrete, cement-based screed, fiber cement, stone, brick, mortar. (ie 5 liters = 15 m) Application temperature: between + 10 C and + 30 C. Practical duration of use: An opened pot, partially used, can be kept a few weeks as long as you take care of closing it well between two uses. Curing speed: Dust-free in about 30 minutes (this time may vary depending on ambient humidity and temperature). Waiting time: the waiting time between layers at 20 C is 2 hours minimum Color: gray Packaging: 5L Reference: 179721 Packaging: Comes in its original packaging Advice: SUPPORT The support must have good porosity of surface to promote adhesion. In the case of a non-porous support or covered by an old paint, a preliminary adhesion test is necessary. The support must be clean, dry and healthy. It must be perfectly dust-free and rid of any non-adherent particles. In particular, it will be free of traces of oil, grease and laitance and of any substances that may hinder adhesion. In the case of very closed support such as a smooth concrete, a glazed cement screed, it is essential to create a surface micro-roughness by sanding. Then proceed to vacuum dusting. APPLICATION Fully open the packaging and homogenize the paint with moderate manual or mechanical agitation until a perfectly uniform color is achieved. Implementation material: paint tray, paint grid, roller, brush, paintbrush. Mixer or drill at low speed (less than 300 rpm). Paint mixing propeller. The application is done in two layers crossed by roller or brush. On a porous support (raw cement, bricks, stones ...), the first layer will be diluted with water (2 parts of Sikasol W / 1 part of water). The 2nd layer is applied undiluted. The site will be protected from rain during and after the application of the paint (2 to 4 hours minimum). Waiting time: the waiting time between layers at 20 C is 2 hours minimum. For a long wait between layers (1 to 2 days) it is important to take care of dust and dirt that could affect the adhesion of the product. Return to service: withstands light rain: after 2 hours / resists pedestrians: after 4 hours / return to service: after 24 hours These data are only indicative.
