SIKA Sikatop waterproofing coating 145 Casing - Gray - 25kg, ideal for new or refurbished casing work, this product will prevent the penetration of pressurized water into the concrete structure. Practical time of use: 60 min at + 20 C Colors: gray Packaging: Kit 25kg -Component A: Can 2kg - Component B: Bag 20kg Reference: 400341 Packaging: Comes in its original packaging Advice: SUPPORT The support must be clean, healthy and have a suitable surface preparation to rid it of any non-adherent part. In particular, it will be free of oil, grease, laitance, curing compounds and any substance that may affect adhesion. It must have the following minimum mechanical strengths: cohesion of at least 1 MPa in direct traction, compressive strength of at least 25 MPa. During application, the substrate must be saturated with water. For this, water abundantly the day before and moisten again, if necessary, just before implementation. Ensure, however, that no film or puddle remains on the surface, which could affect the quality and adhesion of the coating. APPLICATION Pour all component A (liquid) into a clean container (30 L can with full opening). Gradually add the whole of component B (powder) by mixing with an electric or pneumatic stirrer at low rotational speed (300 rpm) with a 4-limbed propeller for 2 to 3 minutes, until obtaining a creamy mortar of uniform color and consistency. Apply the product by brush, roller or spraying (projection equipment type WAGNER PC5, TURBOSOL T6) on the wet but non-suspending substrate. Two layers are needed. Apply the second coat as soon as the first coat has hardened (usually 2 to 6 hours depending on temperature and humidity). Refer to TCC 43 available on the manufacturer's website.
