In particular, it must be free of traces of release agents, curing agents, grease, laitance, plaster, etc., and must be free of all traces of mould release agents, curing agents, grease, laitance, plaster, etc., on the surface. The support is moistened beforehand if necessary (application on a very absorbent support or one that has been exposed to the sun, in hot weather). The substrate must not be damp and must be free of any film or puddle on the surface during application. Pour the water into a bucket and add the product. Observe a ratio of 5.75 to 6 litres of water per 25 kg bag. Mix with an electric mixer at low speed (approx. 500 rpm) until a homogeneous paste is obtained without lumps. Let the mixture stand for 3 minutes. Stir the mixture quickly with a trowel and then start laying with the notched spatula. Prepare in advance only the quantity of product that can be used, taking into account the practical duration of use, open time, ambient conditions and the speed at which the flooring is to be laid. Spread the adhesive mortar on the substrate with a trowel or smoothing machine, then adjust the thickness with a notched spatula (choice of teeth according to the size of the covering and the flatness of the substrate (see product instructions). In the case of double gluing, coat the back of the element to be glued with a thin layer of adhesive mortar (1 to 2 mm). Maximum glue thickness: 10 mm. Within the limit of the open time, lay the covering on the glued substrate and press it strongly or beat it so as to expel the air and obtain a good transfer of the adhesive mortar.
