This book is intended for all candidates for training and the club initiator exam (FFESSM, FSGT): - future teachers between 0 and 6 m (level 2 + initiator) or between 0 and 20 m (level 4 + FFESSM initiator or federal aspirant FSGT); - and future diving directors in an artificial environment (pool or pit no more than 6 m deep). It is also intended for initiators in title to help them on a daily basis in setting in place and carrying out their courses, as well as to 1st degree instructors, as part of the qualification of « initiator trainee tutor» which allows them to validate sessions during internships in situation. To facilitate access, Plongée Plaisir Initiateur is organized into 90 sheets grouped into 3 parts: - The first part describes the main technical gestures to be taught (sheets n°1 to 42): Rigging the scuba, finning, launching, immersion techniques, introduction to the vest, releasing and recovering the mouthpiece, reaction to filling the mask and emptying the mask, lung - ballast, stabilization and balance, signs of diving, behavior in a dive, etc. If all these elements have already been addressed during diver training (see Plongée Plaisir ® 1, 2, etc.), they have not been from the pedagogical angle. , what is most often lacking in initiator candidates is the mastery of the subject to be taught. this presentation, as a necessary prerequisite for understanding and implementing the educational concepts considered later. - The second part develops the key points for building effective teaching (pedagogy) (sheets n°43 to 74): Make students active, limit the number of new instructions, justify their choices, be attentive to the words used, give brief and orderly briefings, develop skills, define objectives and build educational progress, respond effectively to the learning difficulties encountered by the students, give a course on the theory, etc. - The third part deals with the direction of diving with in particular the regulations, the function of director of diving in an artificial environment and the organization of the sessions (management of the available equipment and the educational team, pool management, etc.) (sheets n°75 to 90). Finally, MF1s wishing to become an initiator internship tutor (TSI) will find advice on using the book at the end of the book. Plongée Plaisir Initiateur thus covers the entire training program.
