The GARMIN GPS 73 is a rugged and waterproof navigation device with a 12-channel GPS receiver and a 1 Hz antenna for increased accuracy. It has a high-contrast monochrome display of 2.6 inches and offers 100 reversible routes and nautical navigation features. The GPS 73 can be connected to other onboard devices via the NMEA 0183 network, or it can be connected to a PC via a USB cable to save navigation data or plan routes with the free Garmin HomePort software. An exclusive feature for sailing allows you to set a virtual starting line between two points and synchronize it with the race timer, providing distance and speed to cross the starting line at the right moment.
