In particular, it must be free of traces of oil, grease and curing products. The surface to be treated must be wetted without bleeding before application of Sika Foundation Coating. APPLICATION : Mixing can be done by hand, with a concrete mixer or with a propeller mixer, until a homogeneous mortar of creamy consistency is obtained. Manual application: Application is done with a hard brush, glue brush, broom or smoothing machine, in two thin coats. Mechanical application: The application is done by spraying in a single layer. Finishing is done by floatation. In order to protect the covering from impact during backfilling which could damage it, it is advisable to install a protection type Sika Protection Foundation.
