The 2016 Chablis comes from 48 hectares belonging to William Fevre and was cropped at just 18 hectolitres per hectare. It has a compact bouquet with scents of cold stone but is very tight and needs more fruit expression. The palate is well balanced with a fine seam of acidity and is quite saline in the mouth with a precise finish. Now the palate shows more potential than the aromatics, but this will come good with a year in bottle.
